We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in security testing, vulnerability assessments, and application security. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our systems and applications by conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing solutions to mitigate security risks. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure that security best practices are integrated throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring that the company's digital assets remain secure and compliant with industry standards.
Conduct security testing, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing on applications and infrastructure.
Identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities within systems, applications, and networks.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to integrate security practices into the SDLC.
Implement security solutions, tools, and processes to protect against potential threats.
Ensure compliance with security policies, industry regulations, and standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR).
Monitor and respond to security incidents, and provide guidance on remediation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security trends, threats, and technologies.
Create and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.
3-5 years of experience in security engineering, vulnerability assessments, and application security.
Strong knowledge of security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Metasploit).
Experience with vulnerability management and remediation.
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001).
Knowledge of network security, cloud security, and encryption techniques.
Experience with security incident response and forensic analysis.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Experience with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM.
Knowledge of cloud security tools and practices (e.g., AWS, Azure security services).
