We are seeking a skilled System Optimization Specialist with over 3 years of experience and a preferred background in higher education systems. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and enhancing the performance of various systems, ensuring they meet organizational needs. You will work closely with development teams, system administrators, and stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, improve system performance, and provide technical solutions to optimize operations in higher education environments.
- System Optimization: Analyze the developed systems and propose enhancements to optimize performance, security, and user experience.
- System Testing and QA: Conduct rigorous testing and ensure the system functions as designed, identifying potential bottlenecks or issues.
- SRS Review and Updates: Revisit the Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) and ensure that the system meets the defined requirements, suggesting updates as needed.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement and monitor performance metrics to ensure continuous system improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure all system optimization suggestions are feasible and aligned with project goals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all changes, testing results, and optimization processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on best practices in system optimization, educational technology, and digital transformation in the higher education sector.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience with System Optimization and Quality Assurance (QA) in a large-scale IT project.
- Strong experience in SRS (Software Requirements Specification) writing and reviewing.
- Familiarity with MOHESR processes or similar governmental or educational institutions.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, database management, and performance optimization tools.
- Proficient in QA methodologies, testing frameworks, and automation tools.
- Experience with monitoring and logging systems for performance analysis.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze system performance data, identify issues, and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Previous experience working on digital transformation projects in the education sector.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Experience with higher education systems such as Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), or ERP solutions.
- Experience with Software Development (SDLC).
