We are seeking an experienced Team Leader with expertise in backend development using Laravel and PHP. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working on large-scale Laravel/PHP projects and a proven track record of leading development teams. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing backend development, guiding your team through complex projects, and ensuring that high-quality code is delivered on time. You will work closely with product managers, frontend teams, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
Lead and mentor a team of backend developers working on Laravel/PHP projects.
Oversee project planning, development, and deployment to ensure timely delivery and adherence to best practices.
Architect and develop scalable and secure backend solutions using Laravel and PHP.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of APIs and features.
Conduct regular code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality.
Identify and mitigate potential risks or bottlenecks in development projects.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Ensure that development follows industry security standards and best practices.
Drive continuous improvement within the team by encouraging innovation and implementing best practices.
5+ years of experience in backend development using Laravel and PHP.
Proven experience leading a team of developers on complex projects.
Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and continuous integration.
Proficiency in designing and working with RESTful APIs.
Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or others.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to guide teams through challenges.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.
Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, etc.).
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
